Common questions

The angle reads wrong, or drifts

Run Calibrate with the bike upright and stationary, and check the mount is rigid. A phone that can rock in its cradle reads the cradle, not the motorcycle. The mount wizard under Calibrate walks through it.

Speed shows zero

Ground speed comes from GPS, so Leanback needs location permission and a sky view. Angle, wheelie detection and streaks all work without it.

I can't register for Community

The beta backend needs an invite code, entered once under Settings ▸ Community. If the code is rejected, check it against the one you were sent — the server deliberately gives the same answer for a wrong code as for a missing one. Community is entirely optional; the app is fully functional without it.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings ▸ Community ▸ DELETE ACCOUNT. If you have already uninstalled, use the deletion page with the code from Settings. See the privacy policy for what it removes.

Is it safe to use on the road?

No. Leanback is for closed private property. It is a training and logging aid, it does not control the motorcycle, and it cannot make a manoeuvre safe. Alerts are audio and haptic precisely so you are not looking at a screen while riding.

Reporting a safety problem

If Leanback gave you a misleading reading, or an alert fired late or not at all, please tell us — include the session date and what the app showed. Safety-relevant reports go to the front of the queue.
